Pantry & Consumables
Cheap, rebuyable boosts
The Pantry sells consumables — cheap, one-shot boosts and defenses you buy with in-game $BREAD whenever you need an edge. They are temporary, so you rebuy them as you go. Open it from the Pantry menu.

Consumables are non-tradeable and soft $BREAD only. You buy them for yourself, the effect wears off, and nothing here can be sold to another player or cashed out. They are a way to spend, not a permanent advantage.
What's on the shelf
- Fresh Yeast — 600 $BREAD. +25% bakery revenue across your whole empire for 30 minutes. Stacks with a Surge up to a hard cap, so you can't double them into something silly.
- Day-Old Discount — 400 $BREAD. Waives one bakery's running cost for 60 minutes, so you can run a price war on that shop for free.
- Night-Shift Crew — 1,200 $BREAD. +40% wheat from one farm for 45 minutes (then a 1-hour cooldown on that farm).
- Flour Sacks — 900 $BREAD. For 2 hours, any successful raid against you can steal at most 50 $BREAD and 50 wheat, no matter how much you're holding. A great pre-emptive shield for a fat balance.
- Health Inspector Bribe — 1,800 $BREAD. Blocks one incoming inspection or pipeline-sabotage, used automatically when you're hit. It's a stockpilable charge, so buy a few and keep them on hand.
- Proof Timer — 200 $BREAD. Instantly shaves 10 build-ticks off one building you have under construction.
How they apply
- Empire-wide boosts (Fresh Yeast, Flour Sacks) cover everything you own at once.
- Per-building boosts (Day-Old Discount, Night-Shift Crew) apply to the single bakery or farm you pick.
- Charges (Health Inspector Bribe) sit in reserve and fire on their own when something tries to hit you.
- Instant items (Proof Timer) apply the moment you buy them.

Consumables are deliberately cheap and short-lived. They smooth over a rough patch, win a quick price war, or blunt a raid — but the durable way to grow is still bakeries, wheat, and a real garrison.
