Cosmetic Lootbox
Cosmetic Lootbox
Open a box, win a cosmetic
The Lootbox lets you spend in-game $BREAD to roll for a random cosmetic — a bakery skin, a baker avatar, a decoration, and the like. Open it from the Lootbox menu.

Lootboxes are cosmetics only. They never contain troops, resources, power, or anything that affects the leaderboard — so opening boxes can never buy you rank. Cosmetics live on your account and survive the season wipe (see the Cosmetics page).
The three boxes
Bigger boxes cost more and roll better odds for the rare stuff:
- Crusty Crate — 25,000 $BREAD. Mostly common drops.
- Golden Hamper — 100,000 $BREAD. Skews toward rare and epic.
- Vault Chest — 500,000 $BREAD. The chase box, with the best shot at epic and legendary cosmetics.
Shown odds
The exact drop chances are printed on every box before you open it, so there are no hidden rates. As a rough guide, the Crusty Crate is mostly commons with a small slice of rare and a sliver of epic/legendary; the Vault Chest flips that, leaning heavily into epic with a real legendary chance. Check the panel for the precise percentages for each tier.
Duplicates refund dust
You can only own one of each cosmetic. If a box rolls a rarity where you already own everything, instead of a duplicate you get a dust refund in $BREAD, scaled by the rarity that rolled — more dust for rarer rolls. The refund is always less than the box price, so a box is never free money, but a "duplicate" is never a total loss either.

Every open is a net $BREAD sink, by design. You are spending soft, season-wiped $BREAD to collect a deep catalog of looks — never to gain power. There are over two dozen cosmetics to chase, and more get added over time.
Paying for boxes
Boxes are bought with in-game $BREAD. If you want to open more than your bakeries are earning, you can top up by depositing $BREAD tokens to your game wallet (the rate is 200 tokens for 1 in-game $BREAD; see the $BREAD and Account pages). Topping up only buys you cosmetics and a faster start — never power or a payout.
