Seasons
Bread Tycoon is played in seasons. A season is a fresh competition on a fresh map that runs for a fixed length of time, then ends and wipes. Everyone races to bake and sell as much bread as possible before the clock hits zero.
How you are ranked
When a season ends, every real player is ranked by total bread revenue — the lifetime $BREAD your bakeries have earned across the whole season. This is what counts, not the cash sitting in your account at the end.
- Revenue is tracked even if a bakery is later destroyed or sold, so demolishing a bakery never erases the sales it made.
- NPC bakers are not counted. You are only ranked against real players.
- The top finishers are recorded into a permanent results table the moment the season closes, so the final standings are frozen and cannot shift afterward.
The top three finishers take the largest share of the season's prize, with first place taking the most.

What the wipe resets
When a new season begins, the world starts over:
- A brand-new map is generated.
- All bakeries, Wheat Farms, and troops are gone.
- Your in-game $BREAD balance and your Wheat are reset back to a fresh starting amount.
What survives the wipe
Your account carries forward between seasons. The wipe never touches it. You keep:
- Your prestige level and ranked tier
- Your lifetime career stats
- Your cosmetics, collectibles, and titles

A season is a clean slate for everyone. Skill and progress are proven season after season — nothing you build in one season gives you a head start on the map in the next.
