Trade with other players

The Marketplace is the player-to-player trading hub. Instead of only buying and selling against the game, you trade directly with other bakers, and prices are set by supply and demand.

You pay and get paid in in-game $BREAD.

What you can trade

  • Wheat — list your spare season wheat for sale, or buy wheat from others when you need more than your farms produce.
  • Collectible breads — display-only collectibles can be listed and bought here too (see the Collectible Breads page).

How it works

  • Selling: list an item with a price. It sits as an open listing until someone buys it. You can cancel an active listing to get the item back.
  • Buying: browse open listings and buy the one you want. The cost is taken from your in-game $BREAD.

The fee

Every sale charges a 5% fee, which is burned (removed from the economy entirely, not paid to anyone). The seller receives the remaining 95%. The Marketplace shows the gross amount, the burned fee, and your net before you confirm.

The fee is a deliberate currency sink. Price your listings with the 5% in mind so the final amount still works for you.

Safety

Wheat and collectibles are the only things that can be traded. The cash-out token (Golden Bread) and any revenue-boosting "surge" breads can never be listed, so trading can never sell power or a payout.
